What Causes Sharp Chest Pain Post Barret S Tissue Removal?
It will be one week tomorrow since I had 60% Barrets removed from my esophagus. I still have sharp pains across my chest from one armpit to the other. Went back to emerg same night of procedure and was prescribed liquid morphine along with the normal prescribed amount. Have another endoscopy tomorrow. Why is this pain still persistant? Seems to occur shortly after I eat(soft food) or evening. No sleep last few nights.

It is an inflammatory pain following the procedure. You can try analgesics like Tramadol for pain relief.
