Hello Dear. One of the side effect of lansoprazole is lowering of magnesium levels. symptoms of low magnesium - dizziness, confusion; fast or uneven heart rate; tremors (shaking) or jerking muscle movements; feeling jittery;muscle cramps, muscle spasms in your hands and feet; cough or choking feeling.

So your symptoms may be indicative of lowering of magnesium. Kindly talk to your doctor if the medicine has to be changed and an alternative medicine can be put.

Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you.
All the best
With warm regards
