What Causes Sharp Headache, Fever And Cough?

Not sure if I have the flu or pneumonia - symptoms came on quickly - intense headache, cough, fatigue, fever, no appetite, came on 5 days ago. Cough is deep and productive but clear. Fever has been low grade (100 - 101) but I typically run sub-normal. Fever hasn t raised for about 24 hours and headache is gone except for pain when I cough - which is frequent and sleep interrupting. I think it s the flu but a friend is concerned about pneumonia. It does not hurt to take deep breaths
