What Causes Sharp Intense Pain In Lower Back, Buttocks And Abdomen?
What might cause sharp intense pain in lower back/buttocks with some pain in front lower abdomen? It is mainly on my right side but some on left. The pain comes in frequent waves and is worsened by activity. The pain came on this morning and has worsened throughout the day. I have a history of chronic constipation, but have had multiple bowel movements today and no changes or problems with urination. I also have a history of DVT blood clots and have two stents in the iliac vein in my pelvis. I do not believe this has anything to do with my pain, but I cannot be positive. I appreciate any insight you may have. Thanks!
