What Causes Sharp Pain Above Left Ear Intermittently?

Hi, I have been experiencing sharp pain above my left ear, intermittently. It may be caused by wearing glasses? The pain is very sharp, and over the past few days it has kept me from getting a good nights sleep.

I am using contact lenses at the moment, to give my head some relief from the glasses. I've never experienced this pain before, and there appears to be a small sore area where the glasses sit above my left ear.

Hi,
It seems that due to ill fitted glasses frame causing some irritation and soreness on the part wearing for longer time.
As you started contact glasses, within few days you will relieve of pain.
Apply triple action cream on affected part.
If there is no improvement then consult your doctor to rule out any external or internal ear infection.
Ok and take care.
