What Causes Sharp Pain And Tightness In Knee While Stretching Leg?

My question relates to a sharp pain and tightness in my right knee. It happened after I was stretching to get something from a shelf and extended my leg. Now the pain is intermittent, mostly when I stretch out my leg for a while or sit for too long. I d like to know what it might be and how to fix it! Thanks!

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, knee joint is very fragile one very prone to injury and disease so better to sent it for investigation and MRI is the best option, till then avoid bending of knee joint and not even stretching, and it can be given try with Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day hope this information helps.
