What Causes Sharp Pain Below The Rib Cage?

A not too sharp pain began when I was asleep last night. I feel the pain right in the middle of my torso, just below my rib cage. I felt a little nauseous this morning and throughout the day, I am feeling the same dull pain. I don t eat fatty foods and assumed it was some kind of indigestion. I ve tried Tums today, but that doesn t seem to stop the feeling. I have just finished a 10 course of antibiotics taken for an unrelated reason.

Hello,

As you explain the situation in my opinion this might be from the antibiotics you have already taken as a side effect of them. The intestines react like this in some patients after their use. No worries just try to take a lot of liquids.
