What Causes Sharp Pain In Groin Post Angiogram?

Hi I just had a angiogram( the procedure where the doctor sticks a tube in my main artery to check my heart) anyways I m I suppose to be in pain. I felt a sharp pain in my groin area like I wanted to faint because it was unbearable. I took pain medicine, but what else can I do?

Sharp pain in groin area due to catheter insertion site for angiogram implies.
1.Small Hematoma
2. infection
I would like to advise you to have proper examination and Doppler ultrasound of of the region and let the doctor see your report.
Take pain killer like Advil with two glasses of water. You can apply ice pack on the area if pain is severe.
