What Causes Sharp Pain In Groin Radiating To The Thigh?

I have sharp shooting pain from my lower groin down the inside left thigh of my left leg. It is occasional at times but is growing more frequent.
The pain is at times so serve that I can't walk. I am not aware of being involved in an activity or accident that would cause this problem. Propping up, resting, and changing position of my entire leg helps at times. It seems to start when I raise up out of a sitting position or enter or exit a car or truck.

In cases of infection antibiotics for bacterial, antiviral for Viral infection and anti fungal medication for fungal infection etc can be advised..
