What Causes Sharp Pain In My Arm Below The Elbow?

I had a short hour nap, and then when I woke up, I had a tiny spot on my wrist. I thought it was nothing, and out of boredom tried to pinch it. Now the spot looks red in the centre (as if it were bleeding, but internally), and it looks slightly white, around it (about 5mm radius). Also, when I picked at it, it sent sharp pains shooting up my arm, to just below my elbow, for about 2 minutes. The sharp pain was worrying me most - I was just wondering if you could explain it for me? Even if it s just to say that there s nothing to worry about, thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Given the surrounding circumstances, this most likely is not concerning and probably caused by the trauma you caused. If you have any further worries about this, send an image to me for review and more insights.

I hope this helps. I wish you well.
