What Causes Sharp Pain In Shoulder Radiating To Collar Bone?

I am having sharp shoulder blade all the way up to my collarbone pain. It started out at just the shoulder two days ago but now it has expanded. I'm worried... Do i go see a doctor or chiroprator?

I have tried taking hot baths, pain meds, sleeping different (if i can sleep at all), biofreeze spray, and icy hot... bath is the only thing that somewhat worked but only for like ten to twenty mins then it starts up again if not more painful that before.
