Hi I woke up at about 2am this morning with some pain in my stomach. Didn t think much of it and went back to sleep, around 4 am it woke me up again and I couldn t get back to sleep. Throughout the work day it got worse, sometimes I would get a sharp pain in my shoulders, the stomach pain centralized to the right upper side by around 12, it s now 320 pm and the pain is pretty bad but has spread to the whole way across right beneath my chest
Causes of referred shoulder pain may include: Abdominal problems, such as gallstones or pancreatitis.
Pelvic problems, such as a ruptured ovarian cyst. Heart or blood vessel problems in which pain is more often felt in the left arm and shoulder, such as heart attack or inflammation around the heart (pericarditis).
