What Causes Sharp Pain In The Armpit While Riding?

hello, I was riding off road motorcycles yesterday., It was cold and I wear a lot of gear. I had on an extra shirt, A high tech upper abdomen and chest protector, shoulder pads that are redundant, jersey, and 2 kidney belts. when I began the ride I felt a sharp pain in under my right arm pit about 2 inches. It stopped about 15 minutes into the ride. I assumed something was pinching me. Now after riding for 2 hours I feel intermittant burning in that area and lightly sore very light sore to the touch. I had a shingles vacination about a year ago.

Hi,

As per your history is concerned please do these test to confirm the diagnosis:

1) Do a differential count of blood (DC) to ruled out lymph node pathology.

2) Take a painkiller Combiflam to ruled out muscular origin

3) If above finding is normal then ruled out Brachial plexus injury by doing MRI scan of spine
