What Causes Sharp Pain In The Back On The Left Side?
Hello, I am concerned with sharp stabbing pain I ve been having on the left side back area, right below the waist. Most of the time the pain increase with breathing. It is not continuously but on and off throughout out the day and not every day. Maybe 3-4times a week. What could be the problem?

As per your history, it may be due to muscle sprain.
For that you can take tablet acetaminophen. Apply diclofenac gel or ointment locally. Heating pads will also help.
In case of not getting relief you may require MRI back after consultation.
Do regular physical therapy and avoid forward bending and squatting position.
