What Causes Sharp Pain In The Chest And Back?
Hello! My mom expressed she is having a sudden experience of sharp pain in the right part of her chest into her back. She shared it is hard for her to breathe deep because it is painful. She is sick with a cold so she keeps chalking it up to a spasm or something, but I figured it was worth a quick message!

Its likely a viral infection of of lining of the lungs called as pleuritis. This is frequently associated with cough and cold.
She should get herself examined by local doctor and for this she can otc like paracetamol along with her other medicines.
