General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It seems a muscular skeletal pain, perhaps piriformis syndrome. As this has been going on for one week now, should run Xray of the hip, and a further consultation with orthopedic specialist.

Take analgesic orally, apply analgesic cream or gel locally, take magnesium supplement to ease the muscle spasms.

Wish fast recovery.
