What Causes Sharp Pain In The Left Side Of The Chest?

this is the second time in 3 days, i am suddenly having sharp pains in my left chest when i breath deep, it hurts so bad i have to stop and breath slowly, my body wants a deep breath but it hurts what feels like my heart. and just my left breast is sore. i was only napping in the recliner. the first time this happened i was driving. it took my breath away while driving my heart has never hurt like this before. i am 36 healthy no problems 160lbs.

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion you should consult cardiologist and get done
1. Ecg
2. 2d echo
3. Stress test, to rule out cardiac cause.
If all are normal then no need to worry for cardiac cause.
Get done chest x ray to rule pulmonary causes for chest pain of breathing.
If this is also normal then you are mostly having musculoskeletal pain.
So take painkiller and muscle relaxant.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
