What Causes Sharp Pain In The Left Side Of The Chest?

15 ye old male; about a week ago ifelt a sudden subtle sharp pain in the left side of my chest. I did a little research and read that ihave similar symptoms of agina... One of the causes were getting exposed to cold weather. I live in new york and we are getting hit by a cold wind.. i dont like to cover up.... Also Never done much exercise because i never felt it was neccessary, i look healthy... The pain doesnt hurt so much as it does bother me... going to the doctors in two day, what are the chances of this being a serious health problem? Is it normal for young kids to get serious heart problems?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern. No, it is not common to have heart disease (angina) at your young (15 years) age.
So no need to worry for heart diseases.
Possibility of musculoskeletal pain is more likely.
So take simple painkiller like paracetamol or ibuprofen.
Apply warm water pad on affected areas of chest.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
