What Causes Sharp Pain In The Leg?

i had a sudden sharp pain in my leg-the pain felt like it was deep inside my bone. Pain subsided but it still hurts. I did not pull a muscle, hurt my leg, bumped into anything. I am 65 yrs old. overweight with an apple shape body. Cancer runs in my father s side of the family. Should i be worried

I do understand your pain and discomfort



“As” per your history is concerned you need a clinical exam to ruled out PAD which is due to low blood circulation by arteries. Pain increases in physical activities and reduced at rest. Do you have history of diabetes or smoking or high BP?you need an ultrasound exam to see where your blockage present. Further investigations may be required for lipid profile and FBS and CBC with differential.
