What Causes Sharp Pain In The Lower Abdomen?

I have been experiencing a lot of sharp pain in my lower abdomin for 3 days. It feels like major gas but is more sharp in pain and definately low mostly on the left side but some times both. My stomach is extended quite a bit and I was running a slight fever sometimes. Any idea what it might be?

it is most probably calculi urinary bladder or kidney. can be gastritis with dyspepsia. take ultrasound kub and consult urologist.routine examination of urine should be done.
