What Causes Sharp Pain In The Lower Abdomen?

for 3 or 4 days now, ive been gettin real sharp pain on both sides of my abdomen right above my pubic area.. wat could this be? i was on depo for 2 or more years im about to be 20 and 5 months ago or so i stoped takin depo and never got my period back also do you kno when i might start my period back/

It can take a few weeks to months (in some persons) for period to return to normal after depo has been discontinued.

It is possible that the pain that you are experiencing is related to hormonal changes that can result in the resumption of your period.

You can monitor for now and consider the use of oral pain killers if the pain is severe.
Anti inflammatory pain killers such as ibuprofen, naproxen, cataflam, may be the best option.
