Hello,

Sharp pain with certain movement can be due to muscular pain or if the pain is radiating from the lower back to the leg very likely it is schiatica pain.
In both cases it is important to take painkillers like paracetamol with ibuprofen, and have a physiotherapist give you some exercises to help relax the muscles and improve the pain.

If no improvement with this or any worsening you will need to see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
