What Causes Sharp Pain In The Medial Side Of The Great Toe?
I experienced a sudden shocking pain in the medial portion of my large toe, not in the joint, on the pad beside the nail. It continues with sudden jabbing, nervy type pain. I can t see a bite anywhere (I assumed I had been bitten) but it s not getting better. No particular redness or swelling.
Hello dear I understand your concern It could be a Muscle spasm. nerve compression, infection, inflammation or gout Exact diagnosis should be made by physical examination I would suggest to undergo some blood test: CBC, ESR, Uric acid, xray and MRI of foot. Meanwhile Take following advice: Tablet DAN-SR, multivitamin tablet, give completely rest, Warm pad application, wear comfortable foot wear Hope this may help you
