General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The sharp you are feeling in the pelvis with a personal history of enlarged pelvic veins is an emergency to me.

You should go to ER as soon as possible to identify the cause to this pain immediately and get treated as soon as possible before more serious complications will be set.

Until you go to ER, apply warm compresses on your pelvis area, and take an oral pain killer you find over the counter (paracetamol or ibuprofen or mephenamic acid).

Wish fast recovery.
