What Causes Sharp Pain In The Pelvis?

Hello, I ve been having very sharp pelvic pain for the pass couple of weeks. I am 24 years old and have normal periods. I had my period on December 1st to the 5th. On December 11th I was spotting which was not normal to me. I went to my doctor but she couldn t give me a straight answer.
