What Causes Sharp Pain In The Rectum And Excessive Sweating?

I got up out of bed last night about Midnight, I felt like I had a sharp pain up my rectum. I went to the bathroom and proceeded to sit down on the toilet. I broke out into a huge sweat soaked and felt really weak and ready to faint but didn t. It passed in about 15 minutes. I did move my bowels a bit. Not too much. This happened to me about a year ago. It a bit scary.. Can you explain or recommend what to do?

Hi,

It mostly may be the infection of the lower gastrointestinal tract, the sweating may be related it too. Sometimes the fainting episodes with cold sweating are related to anxiety too.

When you become aware of something that looks scary the level of anxiety increases and sweating and fainting episodes are felt. So don't worry visit a general surgeon and yourself physically checked.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
