What Causes Sharp Pain In The Right Eye?
I woke up last night with a sharp pain in my right eye and it felt like someone was jabbing me in the eye and it has been happening on and off today . I have use Visine tears for dry eye. The pain and jabbing only last for a few seconds and then I am fine. I have an eye doctor that I will call Monday.

Sharp pain in the eye is usually caused by debris in or around the eyes. Usually it is not a matter of concern.I suggest you to use eye drops for lubrication of the conjunctiva.If the symptoms continue I suggest a physical examination.
