What Causes Sharp Pain In The Upper Abdomen And Shortness Of Breath?

I have sharp stinging pains in both sides of my upper abdoman along with a real tender place between my breast in the lower part. I also experience shortness of breath with exertion and sometimes without exertion. The pain even wakes me up at night. Yes I do have bouts of diarrhea but I am not sure it is related because I have had that for years. I have nights that I can t sleep at all sometimes because of the pain and other nights seemingly for no reason. I also have wheezing at times. I do have a mild case of asthma but the wheezing and shortness of has has gotten worse
