What Causes Sharp Pain In The Vaginal Area?

Hi last weekend i went on the bathroom and got a mirror to look down at my vagina.and there was a piece of surgical device coming out of my vagina. I went to the hospital to see what was going on and they all gave me the run around. I had my tubes clamped 11years ago. Is it possible that they came undone and the clamps are coming out. Please I really need an answer. I get these really sharp pains in my vagina.

I have read and understood your query
The scenario you are presenting is unlikely. The tubal clamps can't show from the vagina as vagina opens into uterus and anything coming out of vagina has the route from uterus. The tubal ligation rings are placed from outside the tubes. However if you see something coming out of vagina it should not be ignored, get a proper vaginal examination and transvaginal or abdominal ultrasound/scan.Do you remember placing any intrauterine device for contraception?or do you feel any pelvic discomfort? If no and if your gynecologist thinks everything is fine then you dont need to worry.
I hope this will help
