What Causes Sharp Pain On Foot Along With Itching And Swelling?
Last night i was standing in my kitchen and all of a sudden I had a sharp pain on the top of my foot, what followed was a slight itching and swelling with a weird sensation... it hurt for a little while.. this morning ther is a bruise on the top of my foot (left). Is this something to be concerned about?

Hi,
The symptoms seem to be related to Planter fasciitis. Treatment include physical therapy, physical exercise, apply ice, shoe modification.
I suggest using non-steroidal anti inflammatory medication for pain management.
