What Causes Sharp Pain On The Front Side Of The Torso?

I have a sharp piercing pain on the right, front side of my torso. It just started about 15 minutes ago. No other symptoms but it hurts like heck. In case it s pertinent, I had my wisdom teeth removed on Monday. Other than that, I m in good health, no conditions, on no medicines (except for the Hydracodone I m taking for my mouth pain as a result of having the wisdom teeth removed.) Is this what a kidney stone or gall bladder stone feels like?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Gallbladder stones generally cause pain in the right upper side of the tummy and may be the cause of your symptoms. You will need to see your doctor to rule out other more urgent causes of the pain and also if the doctor thinks it is necessary he may order an ultrasound examination that identifies gallbladder stones if present.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Kind regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
