What Causes Sharp Pain Spine And Shoulder Blade?

I've had a sharp pain in between my spine and right shoulder blade whenever I drink cold drinks and occasionally when I swallow food (not often). I've had the pain for about a week straight. I've noticed it a few times w/ cold drinks over the last year, but never for a week straight. It's generaly been over one glass of a cold beverage and then gone. But recently it's been every cold drink since last Wednesday.
