Hello,

It may be due to many things like cartilage inflammation, liver problems, lungs problem, general chest muscle problem, etc.

I suggest you do some tests primarily:

1. Liver Function Test
2. Chest X-Ray

Some questions I have to ask you like:

1. Do you feel pain during breathing in and out?
2. Do the pain increases after a meal?
3. Do you feel pain in the right side of your back?
4. Is there any problem while moving the right hand?

With the result of the above tests and answers of the above questions, either you can go to the doctor or you can post another question. Do not worry as there are ample of tests and treatments.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
