What Causes Sharp Shooting Pain In Legs And Pain In Ribcage?

I have two questions first one is I get sharp shooting pains down my legs what is the cause and prevention. Also I have pain under my left rib cage hurts when I move. Hurts if I lay on left side. I am a little constipated. I had a gastric bypass in 2009. Hernia repair on left part of stomach and gall bladder removed in 2010

first one is related to operated hernia and constipation. drink more water and take fiber rich food left rib cage pain may be due to costochondritisor problem in liver or gall bladder. take ultrasound left side of abdomen covering liver and gallbladder
