Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Since you test reveals no diabetes, a diabetic neuropathy may be exclude. After a back surgery foot pain may only occur if surgery caused an irritation or compression of a nerve root. However, other possible causes of such pains may include: -Peripheral neuropathy -arteropathy -Stress/strain -Foot infection -Osteoarthritis if pain at joints. There are many possible causes of such pains.I will suggest you see the Doctor for evaluation. You may also try the following: -Rest well/ avoid stressing or straining the legs -Take a pain medication like celebid -Myorelaxant like miorel -Apply ice pack occasionally -Local pain medications like voltarene gel Hope this will help Best regards
