What Causes Sharp Stabbing Pain In Pelvic Area?

I am 11 dpo and I started having mild cramps at 6 dpo they have continued. And I've been having sharp stabbing pain in what seems to be my ovaries. They started on the left then went to the right side. And the pain alternates sides every so often but the pain is not continuous. And when the pain is stopped it feels like a cool sensation after the pain stops.

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:

1) According to your information, above clinical features may be due to ovarian cyst, early phase of appendicitis, colitis, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, indigestion problem, constipation etc.

2) I suggest you to undergo clinical examination and some basic investigations like one pelvic ultrasound scan (USG), complete blood count and routine urine examination. These will help to confirm the diagnosis.

3) Until then, I suggest to take antacid like RACIPER 20 mg ONCE daily in the morning and DROTIN-DS for abdominal cramp. Drink more water and eat fiber rich diet including green vegetables. Keep bowel habit regular. Be stress free.

Kindly, review with tests report for next level management of the case or you can consult with nearby gynecologist for the same.
