Hello,
Your symptom can be indicative of developing
peripheral neuropathy. It can also be due to insect sting, charcot arthropathy or some foreign body on foot. Get yourself examined for this. If any foreign body is detected it will be removed. If the symptom is due to insect bite it will go away in a day or two.
For insect bite you can take antihistamine to reduce the symptoms like soreness and inflammation. Take NSAIDs, one tab after food to get rid of pain. Get clinically examined by a
Neurologist. Get done nerve
biopsy and NCV tests, EMG, etc. Your treatment will depend on the pathology diagnosed.
Get connected to a Physical therapist for
massage therapy and exercises, etc. If required you will be given therapeutic footwear to help walk with balance. Maintain your blood pressure and blood
glucose level at all cost. Charcot arthropathy is commonly treated with protective split, walking brace or cast.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
