What Causes Sharp Wrist Pain?

Hi, I'm 17 and I have this pulsating wrist pain in my right wrist. I know it's not a fracture or sprain, because I can tell the difference. It feels as though something is tugging on the veins in my hand, causing a sharp pain every few mins. It happens a few times a day and then stops as though nothing happened. I've had it before but these days it has been getting a bit more noticeable. I have no major illnesses or history of a fall.
