What Causes Shivering Along With Chills Post Vaginal Hysterectomy?

I had a vaginal hysterectomy almost three weeks ago. I ve been getting cold to the bone shiver, chills, thought it may have been due to pain meds but happened with and without them. Also having very tender breasts for the past 5 days . no fever that I know of, I drink tons of water throughout the day. I have lower back pain, but had back issues for years., some lower ab discomfort but feels more due to my left ovary. Are my hormones just crazy out of wack and if so how long til I balance out?
