General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your mother experience with hot and cold sensations loss of appetite following a diagnosis of Alzheimers disease I am suggesting a possible malaria episode

In view of this please do malaria parasite test to confirm the diagnosis

Meanwhile please take tablet artesunat Tylenol pending the outcome of the result

I hope this helps Regards
