What Causes Shock In Leg After ACL Replacements?

I have two ACL replacements where they used nails of another sort to keep it in place. The power went off in my house and I felt a shock go through my leg and to my repaired knee. Will this injure my knee, will I need another ACL replacement? What should I expect?
