What Causes Shooting Headache And Nausea After Arising?
Hi I am a 48 year old woman, if I eat late or have non-veg after 8:00PM, I wake up with a shooting headache at the lower part of my head/neck aft 3:00AM in the morning, with a nausea feeling. I need to get out of bed and sometimes I vomit, or take advil and within an hour I feel better, but very tired and dizzy. Is this something to worry about. I always suffer from migraines too.

The headache you are experiencing is most likely to be of migrainous type which is aggravated by the food you take..
Good that you observed. You need to avoid that food at that time in order to prevent such attacks..
In case it happens take a precautionary pill (like sibelium 10mg)
Sometimes headaches can occur even after you take the pill.
