General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.

It could be a circulatory abnormality possibility of the veins in your lower leg like varicose veins. I would recommend a visit to your doctor for a physical examination and also a Doppler ultrasound of the region. In the mean time avoid atanding for long durations, avoid air travel, make sure you walk every chance you get but not for too long, and while seated or in supine position keep moving your feet to and fro every 10 minutes or so.

Best wishes
