What Causes Shooting Pain In Leg After Taking Epidural?

i had a baby 5 weeks ago, over the past week i've experienced shooting pains down my left leg and i've woken up this morning not really being able to walk on it. I can't straighten it, it feels like a constant cramp down my shin and i can't put my foot flat on the floor. Could this have anything to do with the epidural?
