What Causes Shooting Pain In Leg?

I am having shooting pains from my rear end down my right leg into the bottom center of my foot. I can be sitting and pointing my foot and it hurts or going to the bathroom number 2 and wipping and it wiil shoot the pain straight to the bottom of my foot?
