What Causes Shooting Pain In Nipple Radiating Through The Breast?

I was hit in my right breast during a play fight. It s been now a couple of days after and I still have a shooting pain that feels to go from the nipple thru the inside of my breast. The pain is not excessive; however sometimes the shooting pain is unbearable. Any idea what this could be? Should I seek medical help??

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Intermittent pain is sometimes nerve related pain.

Nerve related pain can be shooting as in your case but it can also be sharp, tingling, burning etc.

It can occur as a result of trauma though there are other causes as well.

It may resolve on its own , you can monitor for now if it is not severe. If it is severe then you can see your doctor as soon as you can.

I hope this helps
