General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Hot flashes are commonly related to menopause.

The pain in the arm can be related to a pinched nerve in the shoulder.

I suggest taking anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.

I also suggest physical therapy.

If the symptoms continue I recommend seeing an orthopedist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
