What Causes Shooting Pains In My Ear Along With Dry Eyes?
I ve been having random shooting ear pains in my right ear. I feel the pressure/ pain from my ear go into my head (almost like a headache lasting for a split second) and then it goes away. I get these shooting pains randomly every 4 or 5 minutes, and they feel like something is stabbing in my ear! It s so painful! Also, I ve been having dry eyes for the past 2 or 3 days, I m not sure if that has anything to do with it, though.
It may be due to middle ear infection or neuropthy or cervical spondylosis or electrolyte imbalance etc. Get it done ear examination, pure tone audiometry, tympanogram and CT scan brain. Use tablet Tramadol with paracetamol for five days. If no improvement please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
