What Causes Short Term Memory Loss And Aarskog–Scott Syndrome?

I have a relative, male, over 65, who has recently began having the following symptoms: Weakness, short-term memory loss, unbalanced, scoots feet. Has had recent MRI, which they called & said was clear . We remember, from a couple year ago, about a commercial, which showed an older man, with similar symptoms & it was something that was controllable, with meds, but we cannot remember what the illness was...it was something that is not, usually, diagnosed, right away, according to the commercial...any idea what that commercial was

* The short term memory loss at age of 65 indicates most likely age related dementia, deficiency of vitamin B 12 or other cerebral insult rather than Aarskog scott syndrome.

* Because the later is an X-linked genetically inherited disorder with facial abnormalities, short stature, skeletal and genital abnormalities as well which are not present in your relative`s case.

However, a detailed physical examination is must for the further discussion of possible causes of your case interest to discuss.
