What Causes Shortness Of Breath After A Concussion?

I am in post concussion (initial concussion happened 3 months ago) and have gone through medical doctor, neurologist (had prior brain surgery so was seeing her anyway), physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, vision screening (will now be wearing glasses with prism in the lens). I am almost at the end of my recovery and was asked by my medical doctor if I have shortness of breath. I wasn t sure but when thinking about it, I realize I do have shortness of breath (not all of the time). Any advice?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* It seems that you are recovered very well from the previous episode of multiple functional alterations after central nervous system derangements.
* Though it sounds more of anxiety issue, I would quote for the respiratory evaluation with spirometry report one time.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
